Children, Adolescents and Media

Children and young adults are very popular topic these days in media. Is it a good idea to buy our children phones in a young age? Why do teenagers get influenced by media so easily? Why is cyberbullying one of the biggest problems in the media? We can say that media is starting to rule our world. We can get inspirations to how to live our life on the internet and even how to deal with things. We, as the generation that is connected to the media the most do not realize, how actually big of a problem it is. It does not only impact our lifestyle but most importantly, media impacts our health. I know a lot of younger girls that had problems with eating disorder just because they see girls on social media that are skinnier and prettier. We live in a world where social media defines our life and this is the issue that we need to realize and figure out.

What kind of social media do you use the most? We live in a generation that I think is the most effected by social media. Even though social media help us to connect with people all around the world, it makes us being less social in a real life. How many of us has written a family member or a friend that was in the same building but we were too lazy to speak?
